In Nottinghamshire, three organisations are commissioned by the County Council, City Council and local NHS to support carers in different but complementary ways. 

The Carers Hub
The Carers Hub is the primary provider of advice and support for informal carers in Nottingham city and Nottinghamshire. The Carers Hub Service is provided by an organisation called Carers Federation, ​and it may sometimes be referred to by this name as well.

If you are a carer or think you may be a carer, contacting the Carers Hub is the recommended first step. The staff at the Carers Hub will be able to provide information, advice and guidance, as well as inform you of opportunities
